One of my measuring sticks of a great breakfast joint is the Eggs Benedict. Truly an Art form I think. The hollandaise sauce must be just right, not too salty, not too greasy, and no strange off-tastes. The eggs must be soft, soft, soft. Too many places over-doo the eggs. I have to say Zells makes the best Benedict in Portland, hands down. I have tried a number of their other dishes as well. Always turns out fantastic.
